Fatal Motorcycle Accidents in Ohio
Although more than 3,160 motorcycle crashes result in injuries each year in Ohio, more than 150 victims end up losing their lives. Although these vehicles account for nearly 1% of all traffic on roads across the country, riders are victims in nearly 15% of all traffic fatalities annually across the United States. Motorcycle accidents involving multiple vehicles are more likely to result in catastrophic injuries. Motorcyclists are particularly vulnerable again to the impact of other vehicles in collisions, to begin with. Being struck by multiple vehicles dramatically increases the chances of suffering from fatal injuries. Losing a loved one tragically and unexpectedly can have an overwhelming impact on surviving relatives.
