Lebanon, OH – Two Injured in Truck Accident on OH-48 near Miller Rd
Lebanon, OH (November 23, 2020) – An accident involving two vehicles in the Lebanon area sent two people to local hospitals with injuries. On November 22, authorities were called to the scene of a vehicle accident on Ohio State Route 48.
Reports show that at approximately 11 a.m., a 2006 Freightliner ambulance was traveling on Miller Road with the emergency lights and sirens activated. As the vehicle passed through the intersection with Ohio State Route 48, it was struck by a 2000 Western Star Semi-truck. The impact of the crash caused the ambulance to overturn and crash into a metal utility pole. The driver and passenger of the ambulance were both injured. The two victims were transported to Atrium Medical Center for the treatment of injuries. At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
