Fatal Car Accidents in Ohio

More than 1,000 people lose their lives in auto accidents in Ohio each year. These accidents are often preventable, yet we continue to witness the overwhelming consequences they have on families throughout the state. Not only are families overcome by emotional pain and suffering, but they are often forced to spend thousands of dollars on funeral arrangements and other costs. Though there have been endless measures taken to incorporate and improve safety features in vehicles, there is no way to guarantee the safety of vehicle occupants involved in collisions. We continue to see people lose their lives from collisions at an alarming rate.

Every year, more than 40,000 people lose their lives in motor vehicle accidents across the United States. We see our fair share of fatal accidents here in Ohio. Some of the most common causes of collisions include distracted or impaired drivers, drivers who fail to yield the right of way, and those who act recklessly while behind the wheel. When victims lose their lives in accidents, due to the negligence of other drivers, their families should seek legal guidance from a competent wrongful death attorney in Ohio as soon as possible.
