Highland Heights, KY – Injury Accident Reported at I-275 E & Johns Hill Rd

Highland Heights, KY (September 3, 2021) – An auto accident in the Newport area ended in injuries. At around 7:39 p.m., on September 1, emergency crews were notified that their assistance was needed on-site at a crash on Interstate 275.

Reports from local authorities show that a collision between an undisclosed number of vehicles blocked the eastbound side of Interstate 275 in the area of Johns Hill Road. The incident resulted in severe delays in the area as crews worked to clear the roadway. At least one person was transported to a nearby hospital for further care. At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
