Litigation Associates (Englewood, CO and Phoenix, AZ)
Burg Simpson is seeking experienced Litigation Associates. Successful candidates will have experience in the areas of construction defect, general commercial, medical malpractice, personal injury, and workers’ compensation areas. The candidates will also have excellent research, writing, analytical and advocacy skills, and judicial clerkship or law review experience. Trial experience, including arguing motions, and deposing expert and lay witnesses, is preferred. Active license to practice law is required. Fluency in Spanish is a plus, but not required.

Litigation Paralegals (Englewood, CO)
Burg Simpson seeks experienced trial Paralegals for an exciting opportunity to be part of our Construction Defect and Personal Injury trial teams. Positions handle all aspects of the litigation process from initial intake to trial attendance and participation.
The positions involve extensive contact with clients, and lay and expert witnesses. Positions require proficiency in applying the court rules and procedures in both state and federal courts; experience in reviewing, analyzing, and summarizing medical, financial, and other case-related documents and records; well-developed writing and research skills; experience drafting pleadings, discovery and correspondence; the ability to anticipate attorney needs, identifying problems and finding solutions. Fluency in Spanish is a plus, but not required.
