Litigation Associates (Englewood, CO)
Burg Simpson is seeking Litigation Associates join our Construction Defect, Personal Injury, and Workers’ Compensation Departments. The successful candidate will have excellent research, writing, analytical and advocacy skills; and judicial clerkship or law review experience. Trial experience, including arguing motions, and deposing expert and lay witnesses, is preferred. Active license to practice in Colorado is required. Fluency in Spanish is a plus, but not required.

Litigation Paralegals (Englewood, CO)
Burg Simpson seeks experienced trial Paralegals for an exciting opportunity to be part of our Medical Malpractice and Personal Injury Departments. Positions will handle all aspects of the litigation process from initial intake to trial attendance.
The positions involve extensive contact with clients and medical providers. Proficiency in applying the court rules and procedures in both state and federal courts; experience in reviewing, analyzing, and summarizing medical, financial, and other case-related documents and records; well-developed writing and research skills; experience drafting pleadings, discovery and correspondence; the ability to anticipate attorney needs, identifying problems and finding solutions. Fluency in Spanish is a plus, but not required.

Litigation Legal Assistant (Englewood, CO)
Burg Simpson seeks an experienced (3-5 years) Litigation Legal Assistant to be part of our Commercial Litigation Department. Job duties include, but are not limited to: multi-attorney calendaring; set-up and maintenance of files; records request; time entry; electronic filing in both state and federal courts; and, the preparation and filing of form pleadings and documents.
