Colorado Construction Defects Attorneys

Books

Attorneys Ronald M. Sandgrund, Scott  F. Sullan, and Leslie A. Tuft have authored the only books devoted to Colorado construction defect claims and related insurance coverage matters, along with many leading law journal articles concerning Colorado homeowner rights. Their book, Residential Construction Law in Colorado, won the national 2011 Award of Professional Excellence given by the Association for Continuing Legal Education.

The firm’s lawyers’ publications have been referred to in decisions by the Colorado Court of Appeals, the Colorado Supreme Court, and the U.S. Tenth Circuit Court of Appeals. Journal articles by firm members have been chosen to be republished nationwide in Thompson-Reuters’ (formally West Publishing’s) Legal Handbook for Architects, Engineers and Contractors in 2004, 2005, 2006, 2007, 2008, 2010, 2011, 2012, 2014, and 2015 as reflecting “cutting-edge thinking” in “construction litigation.”

Books: All these books discuss legal principles and leading cases from around the United States, but their focus is on Colorado residential construction defect litigation and closely connected insurance coverage issues. Persons living outside Colorado can use the book as a tool for spotting important issues and identifying leading cases and current trends as of the date of publication.
