Car Accidents in Ohio

Every year, traffic-related incidents across the state of Ohio send tens of thousands of injured parties to area hospitals. Although we like to believe that we are always safe or traveling along our state’s roads, this is not always the case. In fact, there are many instances where motorists sharing the roadways are negligent and reckless motorists. Statistics show that more than 80% of crashes are caused by driver actions. The majority of accidents ending in injuries are caused by drivers who are under the influence of drugs or alcohol, speeding, failing to yield the right-of-way, or are distracted while operating their vehicles.

In many cases, injured parties are left with severe injuries following their accidents. Many victims are rushed to area hospitals where they undergo emergency surgery. Depending on the severity and the type of injury sustained, many crash victims require several weeks or even months of therapy and rehabilitation. Although we want to think that every victim is able to fully recover from their injuries, thousands of people are left permanently disabled each year. When victims are injured in accidents, due to the negligence of others, it is crucial that they seek the assistance of a skilled Cincinnati car accident attorney as soon as possible. In some cases, victims may be entitled to compensation to help cover the financial burdens they face moving forward.
