Cincinnati, OH – Pedestrian Fatally Struck by Train on Vine St near De Camp Ave

Cincinnati, OH (August 1, 2021) – One person has lost their life following a motor vehicle accident in the Cincinnati area on Friday evening in the Hartwell area. At around 10 p.m., on July 30, emergency crews were notified that their assistance was needed on-site at a crash on Vine Street.

Reports from local authorities show that a pedestrian was struck by a CSX train in the area of Vine Street and De Camp Avenue during the evening hours. The pedestrian sustained fatal injuries in the crash and was pronounced deceased at the scene. No other injuries were reported in this accident. At this time, the circumstances surrounding the accident are under investigation.
