Florence, KY – Pedestrian Fatally Struck by Vehicle on KY-18
Florence, KY (December 29, 2020) – An automobile accident on Monday claimed one person’s life in the Florence area. At around 6:50 p.m., on December 28, the Florence Police Department responded to the scene of a motor vehicle accident on Kentucky Route 18.
Reports from authorities show that a 56-year-old woman was walking in the vicinity of Kentucky Route 18 and Woodspoint Drive with a second female when they were struck by a westbound vehicle. The 56-year-old woman succumbed to her injuries at the scene of the accident. The second pedestrian was transported to the University of Cincinnati Medical Center via helicopter for the treatment of critical injuries. At this time, the crash remains under investigation.
