Las Vegas, NV – Pilot Killed in Plane Crash on N Christy Ln

Las Vegas, NV (May 25, 2021) – One person has lost their life following an aviation accident in the Las Vegas area on Monday afternoon. At approximately 2:30 p.m., on May 24, the Clark County Fire Department was requested at the scene of an accident on North Christy Lane.

Reports provided by local news sources show that a Dassault Aviation Mirage F-1 aircraft operated by a military contractor took off from the Nellis Air Force Base. After traveling approximately 7 miles, the aircraft crashed into a home located on North Christy Lane. The impact of the crash caused the home to catch on fire. The pilot, who was the sole occupant on the plane, was killed instantly in the accident. At this time, the cause of the crash remains under investigation.
