Burg Simpson is Proud to Support the Rocky Mountain Children’s Law Center
The Rocky Mountain Children’s Law Center (RMCLC) was founded in 1981 and its mission is to advocate for children and youth. The organization seeks to drive systemic reform, and boldly challenge the status quo so that every young person who has experienced trauma or instability has the opportunity to thrive. But the RMCLC goes far beyond providing legal services, and they believe all areas of a child’s life are intertwined and their work reflects this integration. The work of the RMCLC involves both direct service and systems change, but in each endeavor, legal and clinical services are woven together, focusing on ensuring that trauma-affected children and youth have safe, permanent homes; appropriate education; and the resources to address unmet emotional and physical needs.
Burg Simpson Shareholder Tom Henderson currently serves on the RMCLC Board of Directors. View his recent video about the organization here.
Tom Henderson focuses his thriving practice on representing policyholders in suing insurance companies for bad faith and getting insurance companies to pay what the insurance policy promises to pay. He has spent the past 12+ years of his practice on the commercial litigation team where he exclusively represents insurance policyholders pursuing claims for insurance benefits owed by the insurance industry. Tom represents both individual consumers and businesses in their pursuit of insurance claims.
