Burg Simpson is pleased to announce that Peter W. Burg’s nomination to Anti-Defamation League’s National Commission has been formally approved by the ADL’s Board of Directors. All of us at Burg Simpson would like to offer our sincere congratulations to Peter Burg on officially becoming a National Commissioner!

The National Commission (NC) is a leadership group and the primary deliberative body of ADL. The committee convenes for a formal meeting annually and for a variety of programming throughout the year and serves as a significant voice offering insight, perspective, and formal opinions to the Board of Directors.

Mr. Burg’s term will begin on January 1, 2021.

 About the Anti-Defamation League (ADL)

The mission of the ADL is to stop the defamation of the Jewish people and to secure justice and fair treatment for all. When Chicago attorney Sigmund Livingston founded ADL in 1913, he envisioned an America where those who seemed different were not targets of discrimination and threats but were equals, worthy of shared opportunity and a place in the American dream. This vision remains relevant today, its call to action as urgent. While the ADL has accomplished a great deal, much work is left to be done to create an ever-more just society. The ADL continually develops new programs, policies, and focuses on what brings everyone closer to a shared journey.
