Every time the Colorado Rockies hit a home run this 2013 season, Burg Simpson will make a generous donation to the Craig Hospital Foundation, helping to fund vital research for spinal cord and traumatic brain injury. Home Runs for Craig 2013 will be promoted live throughout the entire season during in-game commentary on Denver’s 850KOA radio station – the official home of the Colorado Rockies baseball.
Peter W. Burg, senior shareholder of Burg Simpson, past Chair of the Craig Hospital Board of Directors, and current member of both the Craig Hospital Operating Board and the Craig Hospital Foundation Board, and 2013 Dinner Chair for Craig’s Annual PUSH fundraising event said, “ As a personal injury lawyer for over 30 years, I have handled numerous cases involving brain and spinal cord injuries. I have seen first-hand the devastating effects these injuries can have on people and their families. The doctors staff at Craig Hospital do remarkable work in helping survivors of spinal cord and traumatic brain injury rebuild their lives.”
First launched in 2010, Burg Simpson’s Home Runs for Craig has raised ten’s of thousands of dollars for Craig Hospital and the Craig Hospital Foundation, and helped raised awareness about the dangers of traumatic brain injuries. “Colorado is fortunate to have a renowned facility like Craig Hospital in our community and Burg Simpson is proud to support Craig Hospital and raise funds and awareness for the benefit of survivors of spinal cord and traumatic brain injuries,” added Mr. Burg.
