Continuing education is a critical part of every lawyer’s professional development. That is why the attorneys at Burg Simpson Colorado are committed to helping their peers with their ongoing legal education.

Burg Simpson attorneys Ronald M. Sandgrund and Leslie A. Tuft are doing just that. They are presiding over a live program and web seminar, “Residential Construction Defect Law Update: 2018,” at 9 a.m. on June 15 in the CBA-CLE large classroom at 1900 Grant St., Suite 300 in Denver.

The three-hour advanced session will highlight significant construction defect liability, damages, and insurance developments that have occurred during the past two years and as described in the just-released Sixth Edition of Residential Construction Law in Colorado (CLE Books 2018).

A copy of the book, co-authored by Burg Simpson lawyers Ronald M. Sandgrund, Scott F. Sullan, and Leslie A. Tuft will be included as part of the course materials. For more information about the program or to register, visit here.

Ronald M. Sandgrund, of counsel with Burg Simpson, is a well-known trial lawyer and Colorado’s most prolific author of articles and books on Colorado construction and materials defect law and related insurance coverage issues.  Mr. Sandgrund is also an adjunct professor at the University of Colorado School of Law.

Leslie A. Tuft, a Burg Simpson senior associate, focuses her practice on construction defect litigation and related insurance issues and appeals. She has coauthored many articles and books concerning important construction defect, insurance, and ethics issues.

Scott F. Sullan, of counsel with Burg Simpson, focuses on materials and construction defect (and related insurance coverage) litigation. He has been lead counsel in eleven different class-action suits against some of Colorado’s major homebuilders and product suppliers.

The CLE in Colorado Inc. (Colorado Bar Association CLE) is the nonprofit educational arm of the Colorado Bar Association and the Denver Bar Association.
