The coronavirus pandemic has presented a challenge for our legal system over the past year and keeping Americans safe has been the primary concern for the nation. The closing of our courtrooms during the pandemic has affected thousands of people whose court proceedings have been delayed, and now many people are wondering how we will conduct trials going forward.

During the coming months, it will be important to develop creative and pragmatic ways to address the problems of conducting civil jury trials during the COVID-19 pandemic.
