Michael Burg Interviewed by Fox TV News About Stolen Human Heads
Michael Burg was recently interviewed by Fox News KDVR regarding the ongoing investigation by Denver police involving the theft of human heads. The incident happened last week when the body parts were taken from a medical truck. The human heads were contained in a cardboard box with the words “Science Care” written on the sides. Science Care is a facility in Aurora, Colorado that accepts donated bodies for scientific purposes. There are possible criminal and civil ramifications to this case and Denver police are currently conducting a thorough investigation.
FOX 31 reached out to Burg Simpson’s founding shareholder, Michael S. Burg to ask for his insight into why would someone steal these heads. Michael Burg has experience in cases related to human remains. Mr. Burg said based on his experience, he would not be surprised if the Federal Bureau of Investigation ends up involved in this case.
During the interview, Michael Burg explained that body and organ donations are multi-billion-dollar businesses. Although organ donations and transplants are regulated by the U.S. Dept. of Health and Human Services, he said the body donation industry remains unregulated. He further explained that while there are legitimate independent donation facilities, he suggested that the safer alternative would be to donate the remains to a university.
