Chandler, AZ – Print Shop Explosion at Platinum Printing on W Ray Rd Leaves Four Injured

Chandler, AZ (August 29, 2021) – An explosion reported in the Chandler area ended in injuries, according to reports. On August 26, emergency crews were requested on-site at an explosion incident on West Ray Road.

Reports from the Chandler Fire Battalion Chief show that an explosion took place at Platinum Printing, located inside a strip mall in the Phoenix suburb. The incident caused moderate damage to the structure at around 9:23 a.m.

A total of four people sustained injuries as result of the explosion. Two men were admitted into the intensive care unit of the Arizona Burn Center at Valleywise Health in Phoenix with critical injuries. Two others were admitted to area hospitals with serious injuries. At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
