Hot Springs, AR – One Injured in Explosion on Tanglewood Rd
Hot Springs, AR (May 23, 2021) – One person was left injured following an explosion incident in the Hot Springs area on Tuesday. Just before 6 p.m., on May 18, emergency crews were notified that their assistance was needed at the scene of a major explosion incident on Tanglewood Road.
Reports from local news sources indicate that the single-family home located at 346 Tanglewood Road was under construction. For unknown reasons, a gas-related explosion occurred, causing significant damage to the home. The Morning Star Fire Department, Garland County Sheriff’s Office deputies, and various other emergency crews responded to provided assistance at the scene.
One person was injured as a result of the explosion. The victim was rushed to a local hospital where they underwent emergency medical treatment. At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
