Oak Grove, MN – Man Injured in Explosion on 214th Ave Northwest
Oak Grove, MN (December 19, 2020) – An explosion incident reported on Friday evening left one man injured in the Oak Grove area. At around 5:30 p.m., on December 18, authorities were called to the site of an explosion incident on 214th Avenue Northwest.
Reports from the Anoka County Sheriff’s Office show that a home located in the 4400 block of 214th Avenue Northwest in Oak Grove exploded for unknown reasons. Crews with the sheriff’s office, Oak Grove Fire Department, and St. Francis Police Department rushed to the scene to extinguish the resulting fire and assist victims. One man was inside the home at the time of the explosion. The man was transported to Mercy Hospital for the treatment of serious injuries. At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
