He was also a member of the Plaintiffs’ Steering Committee for the Zyprexa Multidistrict Litigation – The Honorable Jack Weinstein, United States District Judge, Eastern District of New York. Mr. Burg served on the State Liaison Committee for the Vioxx Multidistrict Litigation – The Honorable Eldon Fallon, United States District Judge, Eastern District of Louisiana, and was appointed as the Plaintiffs’ Co-lead Counsel, Ortho Evra Products Multidistrict Litigation – The Honorable David A. Katz, United States District Judge, Northern District of Ohio. Mr. Burg also served as the Co-Lead Counsel, Yaz/Yasmin Multidistrict Litigation – The Honorable David Herndon, United States District Judge for the Southern District of Illinois.

Seth Katz continues to act as an appointed member of the Plaintiffs’ Executive Committee and the Co-Chair of the Discovery Committee in the Testosterone Replacement Therapy (TRT) MDL. In 2018, Mr. Katz served as lead trial counsel for one of the five bellwether cases tried against AbbVie, and continued as a member of the Plaintiffs’ Executive Committee for the Proton Pump Inhibitor MDL.
Additionally, Mr. Katz was the Co-Lead Counsel for the Pradaxa® MDL litigation, and served on the Plaintiffs’ Steering Committee for the DePuy ASR® Hip Replacement MDL litigation. He was appointed to the Plaintiffs’ Steering Committee for the ReNu with MoistureLoc® New York State Supreme Court Consolidated litigation, and served as the Chair of the Discovery Committee for the Yasmin®/Yaz® Birth Control MDL litigation.
