Tickets are now on sale for the 2018 PUSH Gala, a benefit for Craig Hospital, one of the nation’s leading traumatic brain injury and spinal cord injury rehabilitation hospitals.
The gala, Craig’s single biggest fund-raising event of the year, is set for 5:30 p.m. on Saturday, April 28, at Hyatt Regency Denver at the Colorado Convention Center.
Proceeds from the dinner help pay for research and education efforts, “including ongoing studies and clinical trials aimed at improving outcomes, reducing long-term complications, and enhancing the quality of life for those affected by spinal cord and traumatic brain injury.”
The auction helps fund the Craig Foundation’s Patient Assistance Fund, which helps patients pay for travel to and from Craig, buy equipment such as wheelchairs, “remodel homes for accessibility, train caregivers, pay mortgages and rent, and meet other urgent needs.”
Burg Simpson has been a longtime supporter of Craig Hospital, while shareholder Peter W. Burg has been an active volunteer with the organization for years, previously serving on both the hospital and the foundation’s board of directors.
