Ms. Devin Kircher, one of the ten 2021 Burg Simpson scholarship winners, recently reached out to thank Burg Simpson founder Michael Burg and the firm. She said:
“I sincerely thank you for selecting me to be a recipient of the Burg Simpson Scholarship award. As an aspiring lawyer, I am honored to have been recognized by an institution of this caliber. Your generosity will help me on the road toward a successful future. Thank you again.”
Ms. Kircher graduated from Holy Family High School and will be attending Colorado State University in the fall of this year. She will have a double major in Economics and Sociology with an emphasis on Criminal Justice. She will also be considering which area of the law she intends to focus her practice, but has lots of time to decide. We hope that she keeps in mind that Burg Simpson’s practice areas include personal injury, medical malpractice, workers’ compensation, commercial litigation, and mass tort law!
About the Burg Simpson Scholarship
At Burg Simpson, we recognize the importance of access to a good education. In 2012, we launched the Burg Simpson Scholarship Competition. Each year we encourage Colorado high school seniors from across the state to write a 1,500-word essay about the importance of the civil jury system as the guardian of American rights and liberties. Partnering with the Colorado High School Activities Association (CHSAA) over the past 10 years, the firm has awarded over $100,000 in scholarships to college-bound students.
