Burg Simpson Eldredge Hersh & Jardine P.C. is pleased to announce that shareholder Peter W. Burg has joined the Board of Directors of The Brain Injury Alliance of Colorado. Mr. Burg will serve a three-year term, with the option to serve for an additional three years. The Brain Injury Alliance of Colorado’s mission is to improve the quality of life for people with brain injuries by connecting survivors with resources to help navigate the path of rehabilitation.
Speaking of his appointment Peter Burg said, “I am proud to join the Board of Directors of The Brain Injury Alliance of Colorado. I am joining an organization that is very important to the brain injury community and I am excited to further expand my commitment to that community. As a trial lawyer practicing law in Colorado for over 30 years, and as a continuing Board Member and past Chairman of the Craig Hospital Board of Directors, I have witnessed first-hand how devastating a serious brain injury can be physically, emotionally and financially for the survivors and their families. I am appreciative of this additional opportunity to continue helping those impacted by these types of injuries.”
Gavin Attwood, BIAC Executive Director said, “Peter has been a long time supporter of the Brain Injury Alliance and I am delighted that he will bring his energy, knowledge and passion to the BIAC board.”
Based in Denver, Colorado, The Brain Injury Alliance of Colorado is the ONLY statewide non-profit exclusively dedicated to brain injury. BIAC connects individuals living with the effects of a brain injury with resources that will help improve their lives. They also support professionals in the field through educational conferences and regular workshops.
