Burg Simpson founding shareholder Michael S. Burg made two public appearances last week as part of his ongoing book tour.
On March 6, Michael addressed a group of about 70 at the Fort Collins Foothills Rotary Club in Fort Collins. His talk, titled “If You Build It, They Will Come,” covered his experiences in building one of the most successful law firms in the United States. He discussion included some of his successes, his challenges, and a few of the specific cases he’s worked on over the years, as well as general information about what it takes to be a successful attorney. He wrapped up by signing copies of his book, “Trial by Fire: One Man’s Battle to End Corporate Greed and Save Lives.”
Two days later, on March 8, Michael headed south, speaking to an audience of about 90 at the Amarillo Area Bar Association in Amarillo, Texas. Before signing copies of his book, Michael discussed how to build a successful law firm.
