If you are currently involved in a personal injury lawsuit, you would be well advised not to post comments, pictures or videos on social media sites such as Facebook, MySpace or Twitter.

Whilst there are undoubted benefits to staying “connected” online, there is growing evidence to suggest that insurance companies are increasingly monitoring social networking sites for the purpose of gathering evidence to defend or deny a plaintiff’s claim.
