Once again, Burg Simpson is throwing its support behind the miracle workers at Craig Hospital. Burg Simpson is a proud sponsor of Pedal 4 Possible (P4P), a charity bicycle ride that benefits Craig Hospital and its programs.
This year’s Pedal 4 Possible, set for Saturday, Sept. 15, boasts courses for all skill levels, including a 10K, 30K, 50K, 100K and even a 100-mile event.
The 2018 P4P ride will start in Louisville, Colorado, and progress north along the flatirons before turning south to complete the full 100 miles. All participants will start and finish at Pearl Izumi in the Colorado Technology Center, just a half-mile northeast of Highway 36.
There will be a post-ride party afterwards that will include food, entertainment, and prizes.
Burg Simpson has been a long-time supporter of Craig Hospital and its mission of helping survivors of spinal cord injuries and traumatic brain injuries. Shareholder Peter W. Burg is a past chair of the Craig Hospital Board of Directors and also served on the hospital’s Foundation Board. Among other things, Burg Simpson is fundraising to provide matching funds for the purchase of a powered wheelchair in connection with the upcoming Pedal 4 Possible event. To learn more about the match or to donate, visit the Team Burg Simpson fundraising page.
In 2010, Burg Simpson began airing television commercials featuring Craig Hospital. Several shareholders of the firm have served as members of the Craig Hospital PUSH Committee and help organize the Craig Hospital Foundation’s annual flagship fundraising dinner. Jacob Burg and Peter Burg served on the committee this past year. Additionally, Burg Simpson’s “Home Runs for Craig” and “Touchdowns for Craig” campaigns help fund important research for spinal cord and traumatic brain injury.
Shareholder David P. Hersh is one of many Craig Hospital supporters here at Burg Simpson. David will be a rider at this year’s Pedal 4 Possible charity bicycle ride to help raise funds. He is proud to show his support of Craig Hospital:
