GOOD LAWYERS
Protecting Our Clients and Our Staff
During the COVID-19 Crisis
To Our Friends, Clients, and Professional Colleagues:
All of us at Burg Simpson hope you are safe and doing well during this difficult time. While our physical offices are now closed to the public, our firm remains fully operational and we are committed to our clients and those who are seeking legal representation at this critical time. Our attorneys and professional staff are working remotely, but are available by email, phone, and video conferencing. Most courts have postponed most civil jury trials, in-person hearings, and other face-to-face appearances, but our lawyers are prepared to adjust to this changing environment, and will continue to fight for you and protect your legal rights. As we face this challenge together, please know that all of us at Burg Simpson are here for you, and we are committed to providing our clients with the best legal representation possible.
Stay well, and stay safe.
Shareholder Thomas W. Henderson addresses two insurance issues related to the spread of the COVID-19 virus:
#1: Insurance coverage for business liability.
#2: Insurance claims for loss of business income due to government shutdowns
Attorney Tom Henderson is a shareholder who spent the first 20 years of his practice representing the insurance companies and now uses this experience to his clients’ advantage. He knows how best to structure cases to maximize the potential of getting insurance companies to pay. Mr. Henderson represents both individual consumers and businesses in their pursuit of insurance claims and claims for bad faith. Mr. Henderson has been consistently recognized by Best Lawyers®, Colorado Super Lawyers®, and Colorado Top Lawyers by 5280 Magazine.

Congratulations to the Winners of our
Annual Scholarship Competition!
At Burg Simpson, we recognize the importance of a good education, and in 2012, we launched the Burg Simpson Scholarship Competition . Each year we encourage Colorado high school seniors from across the state to write a 1,500-word essay about the importance of the civil jury system as the guardian of American rights and liberties. Partnering with the Colorado High School Activities Association (CHSAA), we have awarded over $100,000 in scholarships to college-bound students.
