Colorado Springs, CO – Woman Killed, Two Hurt in Two-Car Wreck on I-25 at PPIR
Colorado Springs, CO (August 21, 2021) – A 57-year-old woman has died and two others were injured after a motor vehicle accident that occurred on Friday afternoon, August 20.
Per reports from officers with the Colorado Springs Police Department, who are working in conjunction with the Colorado State Patrol, the incident happened on Interstate 25 at the Pikes Peak International Raceway.
After the two-car accident occurred, the woman was rushed to an area hospital via ambulance and succumbed to her injuries a short time later. The cause and manner of death are still pending.
EMS units treated at least two other victims at the scene of the wreck, though their current conditions have not been provided.
