Colorado Springs, CO (October 6, 2020) – A pedestrian accident in the Colorado Springs are sent one woman to an area hospital with very serious injuries. At approximately 12:20 p.m., on October 5, the Colorado Springs Police Department was requested at the site of an accident on South Nevada Avenue.

Reports from local news sources show that an elderly woman was walking through a parking lot on South Nevada Avenue near the intersection with Mill Street, just north of Interstate 25 when she was run over by a vehicle that was backing out of a parking space. The woman sustained serious and life-threatening injuries in the accident. She was rushed to an area hospital for treatment. At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
