Pueblo, CO (September 14, 2020) – An automobile accident reported in the Pueblo area claimed the life of one person on Sunday morning. At approximately 5 a.m., on September 13, the Colorado State Patrol responded to the scene of a motor vehicle accident on Interstate 25.

Reports provided by the police indicate that a 35-year-old male was walking on Interstate 25 in the north end of Pueblo when he was struck by a vehicle. The man sustained fatal injuries in the accident. Emergency crews responded to the site of the crash and immediately declared the victim deceased. At this time, the incident remains under investigation.

We would like to offer our deepest condolences to the family of the victim who lost her life in this accident.
