Lakewood, CO – 10-Year-Old Boy Injured in Jump House Accident

Lakewood, CO (June 12, 2020) – An accident at a birthday party resulted in critical injuries for one Lakewood boy. On June 6, a 10-year-old boy from Denver went to his friend’s house to attend a birthday party. While at the party, the young child entered into a jump house on the property.

After some time, a strong wind gust burst through the area and swept the jump house away. The child inside was critically injured. He suffered extensive injuries to his lungs, spleen, and liver. The child broke seven ribs and suffered a skull fracture and a brain bleed. The young boy remains hospitalized at this time. The incident currently remains under investigation.
