Madeline was born and raised in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. In 2017, she earned her bachelor’s degree, summa cum laude, in Human Movement Sciences: Pre-Medicine from Louisiana State University. Madeline moved from Louisiana in 2018 to attend the University of Colorado Law School in Boulder, Colorado.

While attending law school, Madeline served as vice president of the Health Law Society, volunteered as a judge for the Marshall-Brennan Moot Court Competition, and worked during her second year as a student attorney for the Civil Litigation Clinic. As a student attorney, she gained valuable civil litigation experience by advocating for low-income workers fighting for their justly earned wages as well as employees who have been discriminated against in violation of the Americans with Disabilities Act.

Additionally, Madeline worked with a law firm in Westminster, Colorado as a Law Clerk for several semesters during her time in law school. As a Law Clerk, she assisted various experienced attorneys in the areas of personal injury and medical malpractice, solidifying her desire to help those injured through no fault of their own. After passing the Colorado Bar in 2021, Madeline rejoined that firm as an Associate Attorney before joining the Burg Simpson law firm in 2022.  Madeline currently focuses her practice on personal injury claims.

In her free time, Madeline enjoys spending time outdoors with her husband and their three dogs. She especially enjoys exploring new hiking trails, camping during the summer months, and skiing as soon as winter returns.
