In Memoriam—For Helping Plant the Seeds of the Firm’s Success

Mr. Dunn was licensed to practice law in the State of Colorado beginning in 1964.

His practice was focused primarily on recreational real estate projects located in Colorado, New Mexico, and Texas. The emphasis of his practice was in “work out” projects that found themselves in various stages of legal problems. In this specialized area, Mr. Dunn worked from the ground up on all matters of the project from the creation of the necessary legal entity needed to pursue the development through all the necessary entitlements, registrations, permits, sales and marketing materials, and documentation to complete the project.

He also worked closely with lenders to create unique acquisition and development financing, as well as to take out loans to facilitate final sales to end users. He worked closely with developers on the creation of Property Owners Associations.

In addition, he had extensive experience in the development of public and private utility districts to provide for all utilities for various projects.

Mr. Dunn served on the board of advisors of the Attorney’s Title Guarantee Fund. He also served on the Mental Health America of Colorado Board of Directors and was a member of the honorary board. He was a member of the Denver Law Club, The Stanford Buck Club and a charter member of Poets.
