Emily Lubarsky’s practice is focused on commercial litigation. Prior to joining Burg Simpson, Emily represented clients in a wide range of legal areas including personal injury, legal malpractice, post-judgment collections and construction defect. She obtained her law degree from the University of Colorado Law School. While at the University of Colorado, Emily served as a legal intern for the Honorable Diego Hunt and Honorable Laura Tighe. Additionally, Emily was a student attorney at the University of Colorado’s legal clinic and represented clients in family law matters.
Emily obtained her Bachelor of Science in Environmental Studies and Bachelor of Arts in Political Science at the University of Kansas. Emily is an avid supporter of all Kansas City sport teams. Before attending law school, Emily was a member of Teach For America and taught high school science in the Rio Grande Valley. She is an outdoor enthusiast and spends her free time birding, scuba diving, hiking with her dog and creative writing.
