Wal-Mart Class Action Wage Lawsuits

In Denver and throughout Colorado, Ohio and Wyoming

Wal-Mart Stores, Inc., Case No. 01-00854, Circuit Court of Boyd County, Kentucky, filed 8/29/01. This case is one of the 63 wage and hour class action lawsuits against Wal-Mart that has recently been settled. Plaintiffs in these lawsuits alleged that Wal-Mart forced employees to work through breaks, failed to pay workers proper overtime wages, and failed to pay them for all hours worked. Under the terms of the settlement, Wal-Mart will pay between $352 million and $640 million to plaintiffs in the various class action lawsuits across the nation.
