Burg Simpson “Pitches In” for Denver's Craig Hospital
Burg Simpson is delighted to announce the launch of “Home Runs for Craig 2010” – a fundraiser on behalf of Denver’s world-renowned Craig Hospital.
Every time Colorado hits a home run this season, the attorneys at Burg Simpson will make a generous donation to the Craig Hospital, helping patients and funding important research in to spinal cord and traumatic brain injury.
Peter W. Burg, senior shareholder of Burg Simpson, Chair of the Craig Hospital Board of Directors and a self-confessed baseball fanatic is behind the idea.
Mr. Burg said, “As a personal injury lawyer for the last 30 years, I have been involved in many cases involving spinal cord and brain injuries. I have seen first hand the devastating effects these injuries can have on people. The staff at Craig Hospital does remarkable work in helping rehabilitate victims of spinal cord and traumatic brain injury. Home Runs for Craig 2010, is fun way for firm and our staff to get involved in baseball and at the same time help support a very worthwhile cause. By October, we hope to have raised a significant amount of money.”
