Michael C. Menghini’s practice is focused on construction defect, construction products liability, and commercial litigation. His clients generally include homeowners, homeowner associations, condo associations, and business owners.
Mr. Menghini has substantial litigation experience. Prior to joining Burg Simpson, he was a partner in a Wisconsin-based law firm where he focused primarily on business, commercial, real estate, and construction litigation. Mr. Menghini has been lead counsel and has successfully tried and negotiated settlements in many complex cases. Additionally, Mr. Menghini has experience arguing before the Wisconsin Court of Appeals and the Wisconsin Supreme Court on several occasions, whereby he briefed and orally argued various legal matters, including matters of first impression.
Mr. Menghini has earned the top AV® Preeminent Rating, 5.0 out of 5.0, from Martindale-Hubbell, one of the nation’s leading legal directories. In 2016, Mr. Menghini received the designation of “Rising Star” by Colorado Super Lawyers® in the area of Construction Defect Litigation.
During his time in Wisconsin, Mr. Menghini received the designation of “Rising Star” by Wisconsin Super Lawyers® for four straight years (2012 – 2015) in the area of Business Litigation. Additionally, in 2014, Mr. Menghini was selected by the Wisconsin Law Journal as one of 26 “Up-and-Coming Lawyers” in Wisconsin.
Mr. Menghini spends his free time with his wife, Maureen, and two children, Bernadette and Paul. He enjoys playing tennis, horseback riding, skiing, golfing, and hunting.
