Mr. Geiger focuses his practice on personal injury and mass torts, including lawsuits involving defective pharmaceutical drugs and devices. Since joining Burg Simpson, Mr. Geiger has been involved in the Yaz/Yasmin Pharmaceutical Multi-District Litigation (MDL 2100) and the Testosterone Replacement Therapy (TRT) Products Liability Litigation (MDL 2545). Currently, Mr. Geiger is actively involved in litigation regarding hip replacements, including DePuy Orthopaedics, Inc. ASR Hip Implant Products Liability Litigation (MDL 2197), DePuy Pinnacle Products Liability Litigation (MDL 2244), and Wright Medical Products Liability Litigation (MDL 2329 and JCCP 4710). Mr. Geiger is also involved in claims against Wright Medical involving their PROFEMUR Modular Neck hip implant product.
Beyond his work in pharmaceutical and products liability litigation, Mr. Geiger represents individuals in personal injury claims. In the Fall of 2014, Mr. Geiger represented an injured plaintiff in a week-long jury trial in Arapahoe County, Colorado.
Prior to joining Burg Simpson, Mr. Geiger worked for a number of respected law firms in Colorado and Alabama. As a law clerk, he spent time working on construction defect litigation, personal injury litigation, and product liability litigation.
A graduate of the University of Denver Sturm College of Law, Mr. Geiger was selected to the school’s National Trial Team, finishing second in the AAJ Student Trial Advocacy regional competition in Seattle, Washington. Mr. Geiger has also studied abroad at Linnaeus University’s Baltic Business School in Kalmar, Sweden.
