C. Stephen Herlihy’s practice is centered on representing homeowners and homeowner associations in construction defect and defective building products cases. Prior to joining Burg Simpson, Mr. Herlihy worked for several years in insurance defense focusing on construction defect and personal injury claims.
Following his graduation from the University of Wyoming College of law, Mr. Herlihy served as a Law Clerk for the First Judicial District Court in Cheyenne, Wyoming. While in law school Mr. Herlihy completed a judicial externship with the Hon. Alan B. Johnson, U.S. District Court for the District of Wyoming and published a Comment in the Wyoming Law Review entitled Trading Water For Gas: Application of the Public Interest Review to Coalbed Methane Produced Water Discharge in Wyoming. 9 Wyo. L. Rev. 455. Mr. Herlihy is licensed to practice in both Colorado and Wyoming.
