Rosemary Orsini concentrates her practice on employment issues, representing both employers and employees in cases involving State and Federal civil rights claims, the American with Disabilities Act (ADA), age discrimination, religious discrimination, wrongful termination, sexual discrimination and sexual harassment cases. She has represented employers and employees in matters regarding trade secrets and non-compete agreements. She regularly appears in state and federal courts. Ms. Orsini also assists business clients in avoiding needless litigation by advising them on a variety of employment-related situations by drafting and reviewing employment policies and procedures, and preventive counseling. Ms. Orsini frequently conducts training workshops and seminars for commercial clients.
In addition, Ms. Orsini has participated in and served as lead counsel for several complex litigation cases. Ms. Orsini practices in the areas of civil litigation with an emphasis in personal injury trials, medical malpractice, officer's and director's liability, closed head injuries, wrongful death claims, and family law.
Ms. Orsini is an elected Officer (Treasurer) and a member of the EEOC Liaison Committee of the Plaintiffs' Employment Lawyer's Association.
Prior to joining Burg Simpson Eldredge Hersh & Jardine, P.C., Ms Orsini served as a Judicial Clerk to the Honorable D. Nick Caporale, Nebraska Supreme Court.
Ms. Orsini is admitted to practice in the state courts in Colorado and Nebraska as well as the United States District Court for the District of Colorado, the 10th Circuit Court of Appeals, and the United States Supreme Court.
