Mr. Dunn has been licensed to practice law in the State of Colorado since 1964. He has become associated with Burg Simpson as attorney "of Counsel" in 2008.
His practice has been focused primarily on recreational real estate projects located in Colorado, New Mexico and Texas. The emphasis of his practice has been in " work out "projects that have found themselves in various stages of legal problems. In this specialized area Mr Dunn has worked from the ground up on all manner of project from the creation of the necessary legal entity needed to pursue the development through all the necessary entitlements, registrations, permits, sales and marketing materials and documentation to complete the project. He also has worked closely with lenders to create unique acquisition and development financing as well as take out loans to facilitate final sales to end users. He has worked closely with developers on the creation of Property Owners Associations.
In addition, he has extensive experience in development of public and private utility districts to provide for all utilities for various projects.
He has served on the board of advisors of the Attorney's Title Guarantee Fund. He also served on the Mental Health America of Colorado Board of Directors, and is presently a member of the honorary board. He is a member of the Denver Law Club, The Stanford Buck Club and a charter member of Poets.
